Take storytelling as you know it, apply breathtaking technological innovations, and you have a ground-breaking genre that redefines the audience experience. Immersive techniques such as virtual reality and interactive narratives directly engage the audience how traditional storytelling methods simply cannot.
We were invited to present our current research activities on how storytelling is being embedded into an AR experience to help teach primary sciences. This presentation focuses on how collaboration with various stakeholders is important as part of the process to create holistic experiences and empathise with user needs, developing an education that is relevant and aligns to curriculum delivery.
